Once upon a time in East Lansing, Chris Meloche and David Andrews formed a band called 'Northern Lights,' with two friends from their residence hall. Twenty years later they ran into each other in Chelsea, Michigan, and the impact (and four other friends) formed another band. It might have been called 'Mid-Life Crisis' (for obvious reasons), but the name was already being used by other groups (a few hundred anyway). So, after much debate and minor outbreaks of fisticuffs, they eventually settled on Coconut Radio. After a settling-in period during which a few members grew weary of the constant need to be awesome, the five members you see above were convened. Some years later, a second generation spawn was incorporated. We now stand at four old guys and two young. We don't remember which is which.
