B MICHAEL L (THE BRAND)

B MICHAEL L is an online entity run and owned by artist B Michael L and his B Michael L Promotions camp.  This entity was created for the purpose of supporting the independent artist community.  It has become known for supporting other acts with digital promo, booking assistance and referals.  The mission of B Michael L is to draw attention to the concept of self-marketing and community-based projects, so that artists may continue to thrive outside of larger business deals (i.e. label deals).  A great collaborator, B Michael L has managed to shine spotlights on (increase the followings of) a vast array of popular and up and coming vocalists and producers, such as Sir Ben Marx, Alezandra, Lullabye Mood and Percy Holmes (featured supporting vocalist on MUSICFIEND EP).  

B MICHAEL L (THE ARTIST) 

B MICHAEL L is a vocalist, band leader and co-producer (songwriter and arranger). He has managed to create a fusion sound all his own, which brings together elements of rock, funk, pop, and soul. This sound can be considered acid jazz, since his vocal delivery (although very urban or adult contemporary as far as content) always has jazz inflections. Surrounding hip hop influenced jazz singing with so many other forms of music was, initially, considered a big chance that this artist was taking.  However, as time progressed, his signature baritone voice became the recognized noose which tied these elements together, giving him an unmatched style which is VERY unique.  As shown on his popular smashes "No Matter" (Underdawg Champion EP - forthcoming re-release), "Live Your Life" (MUSICFIEND EP - currently available), and "Wide Open Eyes" (Lullabye Mood's Dream Catch Her EP, LIVE AT THE UNDERSCORE PT. 1 EP, and forthcoming MUSICFIEND LIVE EP), B Michael L's sound is easy to recognize, yet not afraid to take chances.  B Michael L is very driven and dedicated to broadening the current music business, however, his shows leave you feeling refreshed and full of fun!  We hope you take the time to join our mailing list here at Reverb Nation, to preview the tracks for free at your PC (with option to download), and to see you at the next event!
