M7 was originally founded by Bryan and Dai Fai in 2004 with the rest of the band members joining throughout the next two years. The band relocated frequently in the first two years as they borrowed back rooms and apartments to play in. Finally, in 2006, a private studio was set up, and in 2008, the band was officially named “M7”
The band believes that the musical mind should not be confined by the “superficial” labeling of so-called “styles” or “genres”. With this belief in mind, the band stays open-minded and experimental as they enjoy collaborations with an increasingly wide variety of creative talents to create their very own sound.
