Biography:

Jaymes Sterling’s stylistically unique vocal delivery and songwriting voice, have been described as, "Emotionally Gripping", "Sultry", "Truthful", and "Americana Gold,” by some of the industry's top professionals.

The Artist earned airplay in 2008 on Los Angeles’ 95.5 KLOS' radio show, "Should I Stay or Should I Go" with Heidi and Frank. She also garnered much press with her duet titled, "As Far Away" (with co-writer and singer/songwriter Paul Kenny), winning the December 2008 round of the VH1 “Song of the Year' songwriting competition under the artist name “Mandy Gale”. (Gale placed individually in the VHI “Song of the Year” songwriting competition from 2004- 2008.

Wooden Circus had a recording deal with major label distribution in 1995 with Dwight Yoakam’s Producer and lead guitarist Pete Anderson.

In 2006, Gale was nominated by the Southern California Music Awards for "Best Blues", with her rendition of Muddy Waters “Can’t Lose What You Ain’t Never Had”.

The artist has performed live at venues including LA’s infamous “The Rainbow Bar and Grill” on Sunset, “The Cat Club” , swing and big band venue “The Derby”, and Topanga Canyon's “Verity Room”.

Sterling is currently working on an EP titled, ‘Approximately Queen Jaymes’ alongside songwriter and Producer Allen Carrescia, with the EP to be released in early Spring, 2023.
