Jayhigh is an artist. He is a refreshingly orginal songwriter with a strong DIY ethic, and a passionate following that exemplifies the hard work he has put in to creating, boundary crashing music since 1999. Representing Ithaca New York, a small town with one of the most diverse and respected music scenes in the country, Jayhigh has done his part to help put Upstate NY hip-hop on the map.

Most of that band is now part of the Gunpoets, which grew out of frontman Dan "Rising Sun" Lisbe's solo albums.
