Biography:

The music of Camp Z aims at reflecting the mood and tones of the present time, through a combination of punk, post punk & industrial atmospheres. Major references of the project are Killing Joke, Joy Division, Devo, Suicide, Ministry, PIL or Wire…
The first album was released in May 2006, supported by Fake Record, an independent label. The first live show occurred in 2006, in Paris. In late 2006 the project appeared on several samplers.
2007 saw the release of a new album, Violent Memories, on famous label Manic Depression, and new gigs followed.
In 2008 Camp Z joins Zorch Factory Records net label and the Our World To Come EP is released. A last single record is released in April 2009 and illustrates the current work of the band.

Press:

Brown Jenkins - Sentinel Of Times Webzine

“A good mixture of compressed energy and ruptured singalong tendencies, and that's not that easy to do. Either way it's the perfect antidote to a few many carols and total bonhomie.”
Mick Mercer - The Mick

L'Autre Monde Webzine

“Finally "D.hell.usion" superbly closes a very interesting and enjoyable disk which reminds me of a marriage between batcave, industrial and minimal electro. Definately recommended!”

Thomas Mafrouche - Elegy #56
