Metis is a California born Hip-Hop artist now residing in London. The winner of 4 UK 'Exposure Music Awards' including Best Urban Act, Best Live Act and Best Overall Act, he is hotly tipped as one to watch THIS YEAR.
His debut mixtape, hosted by 50 Cent's DJ and mixtape kingpin, DJ Whoo Kid, will be out in March 2011, followed by his debut single: the anthemic 'Champion'.
Not only a talented artist, Metis has an incredible life story. Until recently he worked as a TOP trader at Goldman Sachs by day, secretly penning lyrics during working hours and changing clothes in the back of taxis on the way to gigs...this continued for years before he left to follow his passion for Hip-Hop.
He has written a book on his double-life, 'The Trade', represented by legendary agent Ed Victor (Eric Clapton, U2), and has already signed a movie deal, based on his life story, with producer Jon Cavendish (Bridget Jones, Elizabeth, Croupier) and writer Dan Mazer (Borat, Bruno, The Flash).
