Uncaused creation is an up and coming alternative rock band that was constituted in September 2005 by Marios and Constantine Magdalinos. The name of the band derives from the ancient Greek expression "ek ton uk anef" and the relative Latin expression Sine Que Non which means creation out of nothing or creation out of nowhere. Uncaused creation is a name that characterizes the cultural-musical background of the band, expresses the personality and artistic aesthetic of both songwriters and their experiences in life and music as individuals and musicians. In general the term is a philosophical aspect of life that reveals the way that all the pure elements of our existence are formed. Elements that exist in our souls from birth and evolve during our lifetime as parts of the human society and civilization such as instincts, senses and other fundamental parts of our personality as human beings. Musically speaking the term expresses the way that love for music becomes part of our soul from the time we are born, without any previous cause of creation no matter who we are, where we are born or we come from. Elementary trait of the group is the chemistry between the two brothers, performers and songwriters and their common perception about music. The song material, in terms of music style, belongs to the general spectrum of rock music. Thus would include characteristic traits of different areas of rock music combined with an east oriented flavor that features the majority of the composed material.
