Sounds Like: Kyuss, Official Spiritual Beggars
Genre: Metal
Gilded of dark melodies and crushing grooves, Tomorrows Dream crafts an aesthesis that propels the percipient on a journey from anthemic rebellion to paralyzing despair.
Rolling out of Vancouver on wide track rubber like a black muscle car on crack, windows down, blasting deep dark doom from every pore, the band delivers a throbbing pulse of stoned out groove metal in the mold of Kyuss, Sleep, and Black Sabbath.
Al Silveira’s riffs explore the space between low blues shuffle and southern metal stomp, with Todd Hines' voice evoking both the gravel of Lemmy and the desperate wail of Weiland. A thunderous yet swinging pocket laid down by drummer Tim Davis merges with the chest caving thump of bassist Wade Stringer, bringing all the elements together in a thick and pungent stew of melodic hard rock with a metallic bite.
