Bio
Project Zer08 is the versatile creative output of producers Arjen van den Berg (Ren) and Ali Schorah.
The act was formed in april 2008 by Arjen van den Berg and Leigh Holley to see what could be done on a zero budget before the end of the year, from which the name 'Project Zer08' originated. Ren carried on with writing music as Project Zer08 and was joined by Ali Schorah who was at the time working on a solo album produced by Ren. This has created a different sound and steps being undertaken into taking the project out of the studio and onto stage.
About

Arjen van den Berg
Arjen van den Berg, also known as Ren is the main programmer and producer for Project Zer08 he is also the singer, and contributes as synth player and occasionally the bass player or guitarist. Arjen van den Berg is a sound engineer at the university of Kent.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, Ren stopped music in his early teens not to pick it up again until he migrated to England where he first met Leigh Holley. Picking up the bass guitar he advanced quickly and fronted his first proper band DNA with Leigh, Alexander Duncan, Steven Douglas later to be replaced by Josh Weeden, all are still regular visitors to his studio.
At university Ren developed an interest in acoustic engineering and computer programming resulting in him using synthesisers designed by himself and he uses a range of aquired instruments alongside guitar, bass and vocals.

Ali schorah mainly contributes as guitarist and singer, with a very contrasting voice and playing style he brings a whole new world of ideas to the mix. He became part of the project after completion of his solo album 'Anachronism' which was produced by ren. He has played in a wide range of acts across the south of england and is the main agent in taking Project Zer08 out of the studio and onto the stage.
