OUTHOUSE explores ambient worlds where organic crosses with electronic. Using loops beats and processed textures, layered with world percussion and melodies, OUTHOUSE successfully creates a rich environment of sound. The result allows the band to utilize this Downtempo Chillout sound in a variety of scenario's that can make  it appropriate for Yoga, meditation, relaxation, sex, background or Just chill'n. Outhouse interesting cross pollination of Urban Chillout Electronica & World Music make for endless possibilities of color and texture in which to build there universe.

OUTHOUSE is simultaneously debuting 2 CD's. The first entitled “Hang Sessions” is based around an amazing instrument called a “HANG” Produced in Switzerland for only a few years. The “Hang” combines elements of both Gamelan Gongs and Steel Drums. The Instruments come in a series of scales that produce rich and vibrant tones. Keyboardist, Producer, & Writer Mark Rechler and Percussionist/Drummer George Hooks create layered loops with the hang as a framework for the songs on they created. For further directions they worked with Yoga instructors to fully understand the requirements and flow of an inspiring Yoga class. Using that information to create things such as the tempo, intensity & timing to build the perfect peaks and valleys of a Yoga class.

The 2nd CD being released is “Soma Diploma”. Named after the ancient moon god as well as “Soma” the ecstasy like drug from Aldus Huxley's famous book A Brave New World. This CD also can be used for a Yoga flow class scenario but it also incorporates more intense Indian & Asian influences, and explores musical territories that are unafraid to range from downright kicking beats to deep dark ambient worlds.

Both “Hang Sessions” & “Soma Diploma” will also soon be available with a Yoga Class & transformational meditation voiceovers .

Mark Rechler a Long Island Musician, Architect, Artist, & Song writer who has written music for Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, MTV & VH1, He created & plays in the funk/rock band “Circus Mind” who has two CD's available. Mark's varying backgrounds allow him to take a spatial & textural approach to music and song writing. Gear: Mark uses a combination of classic keyboards (Rhodes, Hammond Organ, Hohner Clavinet) and modern Synths (Access Virus, Korg Karma, Moog) as well as Soft Synths such as Reason. And uses Abelton LIVE for looping & recording.

George Hooks, a Tennessee transplant, who played drums for the Ringling Bros. for 11 years and is currently sponsored by Ziljian. George is a drum circle master currently working with retreats, team building, and camps for children with special needs. George also plays in a number of Jazz & Rock projects such as “Circus Mind” as well as being highly regarded in the Brooklyn Hasidic Klezmer scene.
