Oscars Stream is a Canadian alternative rock / ambient electronic project from Vancouver B.C. Oscars Stream is composed of Adam C.O. Thomas (Producer, Writer, Drums, Bass, Percussion, Lead Vocals, Bass, Guitars, programming, and Keyboards.) Adam C.O. Thomas also works with the brilliance of Mike Lowden (guitar), Ian Cox (Fender Rhodes), Mike Kennedy (Acoustic bass, electric bass), Takuya Hidaka (guitar), And Emi Shimakura's (beautiful hand claps and finger snaps).
About
Oscars Stream is a project by professional drummer, songwriter, producer, and recording artist, has been working in the music industry since 1999. As a freelance drummer, Adam toured virtually every elementary school in Saskatchewan and British Columbia, teaching thousands of kids about the Blues with the musical group The Blues Berries. Adam also toured cross-Canada as the drummer for a country/pop 4-piece called Bottleneck. His successful audition for Bill Henderson, of the renowned band Chilliwack, gave him the opportunity to perform at a special benefit show which opened many doors and expanded his musical horizons. He has played countless corporate Jazz and Top 40 events in Vancouver, as well as gigs with his original Rock band, Day Four.
Adam produced and recorded a full-length album, “Because There’s A Reason For This”, Genvieve Rainy (2000), which highlighted how passionate Adam is about songwriting and composition. He produced and recorded an original Rock album with his band, Oscars Stream, where he combines his wide range of experiences as drummer, songwriter, and producer, and brings to life the music as inspirational and creative as he is.
