Focus, word Definition:

1. A central point, as of attraction, attention, or activity.

C. The clear and sharply defined condition of an image.

These words describe perfectly one particular unique young man and his name is SunMoon Bey.

SunMoon or "Sun" as he is often called by friends and colleagues alike was born In Philadelphia Pa, Raised in two parent home SunMoon was taught the most important lessons of life on earth. "Who you are matters" and I don't mean who you are as far as being famous or wealthy, "I mean who you are as a human being on this planet." Explains "Sun" My parents are Moorish I was raised in a very traditional house hold. Both my parents wanted me to know as much as I could about my culture and who i was in relationship to the great god of the universe.

SunMoon is a traditional Moorish (Moroccan) name I was taught as a child that I could have Anything I wanted as long as I worked hard for it, and that's what I've always tried to do. Sun's story is not at all like most people within the music industry today, absent of any story's of organized crime, drug abuse, jail time or any other dubious situations. SunMoon Was home schooled until he graduated 12th grade. Afterwards Sun attended the community college of Philadelphia as an Art major specializing in graphic design, but Sun had a much bigger dream for himself.

Music is something I've always enjoyed. I always knew i would be involved in it, in some way or form, I just never Imagined it would be this way. I was In school but i didn't really enjoy it much, i didn't feel like i was learning anything, I really felt that everything was just really cliquish so i left. "SunMoon" began doing free lance design jobs for local area rappers, It was in doing this he met up with his soon to be mentor, Rick Rude. After a designing the logo for one of Ricks artist, Sun Begin to talk to Rick about his interest in music. and his love for hip hop, It was this that spawned the relationship for "SunMoon" and hip hop to take off. "I began working for Rick as an intern. Cleaning up the studio, learning how to use the equipment and recording artists". "In return he would teach me how to make beats". "I did this for a bout a year. I would work on the Drum machine and sampler that was there for hours, until i thought i had something worth while, then i would go play it for Rick", "he in turn would play it for everyone that's how i learned". "There's nothing like having a couple MC'S their girls, and some other acts there, to listen to your not so polished beat". "I can laugh about it now, but back then aww man that was harsh". "But it only prepared me for things to come in this business."

That was 6 years ago SunMoon Now owns his own Production label. Soul-Lure Productions in which he has gotten to work with a lot local Philadelphia talent some of the more popular would be artist like Ethel Cee, Ij Majesty, G ball, Soldier. Nile Hardin, Syn the VILLAIN. Along with artist outside of the country.
