ONE WITHOUT / Press

"Swedes One Without fronted by Catrin Feymark together with growls from Kenny Boufadene, hit us with their second album, and what an awesome 17 track affair this is. Their debut album 'Thoughts of a Secluded Mind' was a high octane affair, and this release continues the 'Gothenburg Metal Sound', heavy riffs, hooks galore, an occasional subtle electro undercurrent, together with choruses that bounce around in your head for ages after the album has finished. This is good Melodic Metal, damn good.." SCORE 9/10

"One Without is a very deceptive name, as this band isn’t missing anything. Like an engine firing on all cylinders, One Without is roaring to the front with the release of their second album entitled "Sweet Relief". From the amazing dual vocals of the opening track, “Hunger,” to the martial machinegun drumming and slick acoustic style guitars as part of the final song, “This Is War,” One Without covers all the bases and a variety of styles."

"The band took a risk by making the album in between rock and metal, but because of their strong identity and great songs the result is great"

"One Without succeds in making a great album in "Thoughts of a Secluded Mind" and are not being restricted by the metal genre, but rather enriched by it!"

"I get shivers right from the start, they have really succeded in weaving together all the mixxed styles like pop, rock and metal, add to that great choruses and verses that instantly gets to you."

"One Without is one of these bands that really impress me much and of all the bands I hear and receive music from, One Without absolutely stand forward as one of my top favorites so far this year! Musically they sound tasteful and fresh, and by mixing metal, rock and pop into a fusion they have managed to get their own style and twist on their songs."

"To sum it up: the cover is beautiful, the sounding is perfect, the music immediately crushed me with its innocent grace (love at first sight) – there are no complaints. I was about to give a 10, in their genre, they would really deserve it, but I'm a bit more cautious, and wait for the highest score until their next album. If they keep their form, I'll give them the 10."

"A solid and magic album, you'll listen to one of today's great voices, evident brilliance, heavy music, its harmonic and violent all in one: “Thoughts Of A Secluded Mind” it doesn't sound like all the other stuff that's out there. Still here?"
