Q: Hey Chuck, I see you're playing a LP. What kind of processors & amps you using ? Getting a pretty good tone. Also, the recording quality is pretty good, what's that setup ?
A: hey Bruce thanks for asking; as far as processors go, i prefer to use as little as possable. just some reverb, analog delay, alittle compression.no drive or distortion boxes! i use the natural gain on my amplifiers, i use a randall rt100 and a rt50 for amps. i just think the randalls are very good both clean and dirty. note definition and harmonics are very articulate.i swapped the 6L6s out for EL34s green mediums in the power section. i still use AX7s and AT7s in the pre section. believe it or not, i use celestion rocket 50s in my cabs. you can't destroy these things and with a little tone tweeking they can be really sweet. as far as recording goes, boss BR series, it is a very user friendly piece of equipment, i recommend the BR1200 and BR1600s. i hope this answered your questions which are greatly appreciated, never hesitate to contact me bruce. thank you for the compliments, and being a fan, Chuck
