DETROIT LOVES YOU!!) and the rap Legend Eminem,Biz met Proof while walking down 7 mile and stumbling into a cypher.Proof saw alot of potential in Biz and the rest is history. His debut EP, Attack of the Weirdoes, received some notoriety in 1998, enough to land him a guest spot on Eminem's highly successful Marshall Mathers LP in 2000. Subsequently, Eminem inked Bizarre to a deal on his own record label. Bizarre joined Eminem's band D12 and appeared on their albums Devil's Night (2001) and D12 World (2004). In 2005 he broke out on his own with the solo album Hannicap Circus. Numerous tracks with fellow Detroit rapper King Gordy appeared on Bizarre's 2007 release Blue Cheese 'N' Coney Island. Bizarre and King Gordy are currently touring together as The Davidians, releasing intense tracks, and by far one of the best dis tracks of all time, gunning down southern rapper Haystak with 1 song. Bizarre has been spending ALOT of time in the studio lately, and hes going to bring the fire!! From that moment on, the Queens, New York native began to make a name for himself DJing as part of the Dynamic Rockers Crew and began working with the likes of Arthur Baker, Tommy Boy, and Sleeping Bag Records. By the mid 80s, Omar began remixing tracks for several rap artists: UTFO, The Boogie Boys, Stetsasonic and Mantronix. His superb DJ skills and stellar remix credits earned him a place as one of the infamous Edit Kings. It is because of that title that Omar has gone on to work with some many noteworthy names in music. Artists like Public Enemy, Janet Jackson, Simply Red, Quincy Jones, The Rolling Stones, New Order, The Shamen and MC Ren of NWA, have all requested the talents of Omar at one time or another. Unhappy with the current state of Trip Hop, Omar began his own record label, Tricked Out Recordings and its Hardcore affiliate, H2OH Recordings, six years ago. Since then, he has been releasing his own material as well as that of fellow Hardcore and Breaks DJs. Recently in the studio with John Kelley, Omar has helped create what hopes to become a Break Beat smash single for his re-launched Tricked-Out imprint with Impending Doom. Not just known for his Trip Hop contributions, Omar has also successfully compiled the tracks for Hardcorps, contributed tracks to compilations such as Bigger Dirtier Beats as well as collaborating on the Moonshine Overamerica 2000 the Music DJ Mixed. Moonshine has continued to document Omar Santanas work for the past five years through all of his musical journeysTricked Out, Hard Hop Tricked Out, Battle for Planet of the Breaks and with his Hardcore For The Headstrong series. Throughout his adventures, he has become a true star of the American rave circuit, so much so that not only is Omar sponsoring his own events (Headstong), he is being recruited to help spearhead the Hardcore stages at a number of large events in the coming year. Omar carries on with the tradition of his successful Hardcore for the Headstrong run by bringing you the latest installment The New Testament. This set combines Omars unparalleled DJing skills with his impeccable ear for what his fans enjoy the excitement of his live sets. Several of his own compositions mixed with those of Da Predator along with a number of tracks from Chosen Few, help create a pure feast for the Hardcore! Omar wrote the book on Hardcore, and Hardcore For the Headstrong, The New Testament is a fantastic chapter in his latest manuscript. Welcome Omar for his first real Detroit Appearance, and his new sound. Omar has been working the past few years on Hardcore Breaks and Dubstep, incorporating it into his Crazy, Massive Hardcore Sound. Madalba, was born on July 1985 in Bari. Throughout her youth, her interest in different musical cultures such as house and dance trends of the moment spread through rock and punk until eventually leading back to Techno and club-culture. At 22 she approaches the international scene as dj-girl with regular performances in the German and Italian club circuits. Her musical style is very influenced by her surroundings in her new home in Berlin. The Berghain sound and the Italian Techno sounds are both very prevalent when she plays. In 2008 she has created together with other partners a project called Bitzmob, a platform for distribution of digital content on mobile phones, as artistic selector and audio-video promoter. Since then, Bitzmob has received world-wide attention and critical acclaim. The musical experience Madalba has gained over the years brought her to start djing with only vinly. This has led her to build up a strong reputation as one of the top underground Techno DJs in Germany, where she now lives and works developing her sound day after day. http://soundcloud.com/madalba http://dpov-tapes.blogspot.com/ **JEFF WOODWARD** (DETROIT HOUSING COMMISSION) UK GARAGE/SPEED GARAGE/2-STEP Anyone who partied back in the Early 90s to the Early 00s, knows Jeff Woodward. An amazing DJ, with great track selection, great mixes, and a long established History as the Midwestern, and Notably Detroits, King Of Garage. In the game since 1978, Mr. Jeffrey Woodward has established himself as not only Detroit's original Don of UK Garage, but also one of many DJ's across the United States to champion this sound to the masses who are open minded about hearing something new. Mr. Woodward is one of a handful of Detroiters to be involved in music as a fan, record store employee (Buy-Rite Music/1988-1997; The Dance Zone @ Melodies & Memories/1997-2000), and DJ. In 1996, Mr. Woodward was the first Detroit DJ to spin UKG on an exclusive basis at downtown Detroit's legendary Club 246. That year, he founded The Detroit Housing Commission. His reason? " I decided to pull a 360 away from all of the other Club 246 DJ's who had to fight to break the "hottest" records (which, ironically, he sold to them). "Don't get me wrong: I love house music, but I kept hearing the same predictability that's still being heard in the clubs today. I then knew that Detroit was ready for something different." After 246 closed in November,1988, Mr. Woodward found more opportunities to bring the UKG sound to even more people. First, he was hired at Lush in 1999 as the Co-Resident DJ on Saturdays. At the same time, he found his biggest success when he joined the dubTech underground cartel. His epic Speed Garage battles with fellow dubTech members CDX, and Whistle Boi gave new meaning to the phrase "tear the roof off!" Jeffrey has played alongside DJ greats such as Terrence Parker, Paul Johnson, Boo Williams, and DJ Assault, just to name a few. The music he played at raves ended up as even bigger hits at Lush, and the masses knew that when he played, they weren't going hear the "same ol, same ol" that others were playing every week. We proudly welcome Jeff Woodward to be apart of this amazing event, and to show some of the younger generation, that before there was Dubstep, THERE WAS GARAGE!! After listening to Jeff's set, you will be able to understand, where the famous Dubstep sound, has gained alot of its roots from. http://www.soulchampion.com/djs-producers/jeffrey-woodward-profile.html **DJ SEOUL** (BANGTECH12/DETROITTECHNOMILITIA) Techno/Tech Bass DJ Seoul is one of America's leading Ambassadors of Detroit Techno and Techno Bass. As a soldier for the Detroit Techno Militia, this powerhouse DJ has been spreading the gospel of Techno throughout the world for the past 15 years. With lightning fast mixing skills and exceptionally technical scratches and juggles, Seoul brings an energy to the dance floor that is rarely seen. As a producer, his work on the Detroit Techno Militia record label and his remixes for Drugaci Exhibitions have garnered him worldwide acclaim. DJ Seoul gives the crowd one hundred percent every time he performs and this energy is clearly visible and reciprocated by the audience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVSQPUTm1O0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1RZwRhfe6Y http://detroittechnomilitia.com/ http://bangtech12.com/12/ **JESSE JAMES** (NIGHTSNEAK) TECHNO The last decade has seen the rise and fall of many faces in the electronic music scene. The last ten years for Jesse James how ever has been nothing but a steady rise to the top. Starting his Dj career in 2000, Jesse James has become one the mid-west's most in demand Dj's. Starting NightSneak Ent. with his cousin James in 2005, the two have built NightSneak into the midwests largest underground production company, throwing events where the crowd usually reaches numbers of 2000+. With a hectic Dj schedule which frequently includes such cites as Chicago, New York, Louisville, Detroit, Grand rapids, Salt Lake City, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and many more, Jesse still finds time to hit the studio. His production explores the darker side of quirky Techno, with smooth heavy bass lines and intricate synth lines that are very reminiscent of the sounds of an industrial factory. Having played along side John Aquaviva, Rob Hood, Green Velvet, Dj bone, Marco Baily, Tech Itch, Bassnecter, bad boy bill and many many others, Jesse has shown what it means to grow and persivere in this industry, be on the look out for the up coming Nightsneak lp. http://nightsneak.com/ http://www.myspace.com/djjessejamesz http://soundcloud.com/jesse-james-nightsneak http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhKAaToH_Jw **GUSTO** (NIGHTSNEAK) TECHNO Augustus Williams, aka DJ Gusto, may not have had the most ideal childhood, but his story is a positive one with a promising future. Gusto has memories of his father listening to Marvin Gaye and old Motown records, but the music that spoke to him first was Hip Hop. By Junior High Gusto was spending much of his time listening to the radio, and taping shows of WJLB, this is where he first learned of artists like DJ Godfather, and DJ Assault. When he attended his first party in 1996 he did not yet know what Techno was, but validates that this was the event that would evidently shape the rest of his life. From that point on Gusto’s interest in music grew into a passion, and that passion drove him to become a part of the music. He began DJing, focusing on electronic music evolving from his first love of Hip Hop, Electro, and Drum N’ Bass. At the age of 19 Gusto learned about “The Belleville Three” and found him self completely drawn to Techno. He started to play frequently at house parties, and at one of these parties he met a fellow DJ, Jesse James, and the two of them soon became close friends. This meeting and newly established friendship would provide Gusto with an opportunity to shine in his future, Jesse James and cousin James Woods would later become responsible for the “Nightsneak” parties, and Gusto soon became a local favorite. Since then he has had the opportunity to perform alongside artists such as; James Pennington, Mike Dearborn, Terrence Parker, Green Velvet, Frankie Bones and DJ Assault. After years of spinning records Gusto began to direct his energy through drum machines and sequencers, often combining those efforts for a no less than impressive show. Playing mostly live shows for the better part of the last 7 years, people often forget he started out as a DJ. In the studio his tracks are made with the DJ and the dance floor in mind, and he spends much of his time developing his own style. Years of determination posed yet another opportunity for him when Twonz the owner of Hijacked Records asked him to join the family. The rest is not history, but the future. **RHYTHMICS** UK Hardcore, Freeform, Breakbeat Hardcore- Delray Beach, FL, USA CHECK HIM OUT: http://soundcloud.com/rhythmics ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Since 2008, Alan "Rhythmics" Betancourt has been moving up the ranks in the European UK Hardcore scene and is quickly being recognized as one of the leading UK Hardcore producers in the USA, already gaining international support from established DJs such as: Scott Brown, Sy, Brisk, Fracus & Darwin, CLSM, Nu Foundation, JAKAZiD, Darren Hotchkiss, Thumpa, Entity and more. =============================================== **NETWORK EDM** Tech / Progressive / Electro house-Columbus,OH CHECK THEM OUT: http://soundcloud.com/networkedm ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Bryan Keller and Matt Cremean have been EDM fans for years but only recently decided to take their enthusiasm to the next level.
