“It has been a hot minute since I’ve heard anything from my good friend, jDub. He always goes to the next level when it comes to his tracks. He just sent me this track last night and it is beautiful. This track was inspired by the sunrise, so I felt that I should listen and post this in the morning. I really can’t describe the genre and I am under the impression he couldn’t either. It reminds me of Porter Robinson which makes me love it. Check it out right now!”

“JDUB reached out to us, sent us some of his work, links to his social media pages etc. and we were certainly impressed, impressed enough to make him our featured artist! The reason why we chose to feature JDUB, is because we were truly intrigued by how original and different he is. In today’s day and and age, both of those things are very hard to come by. His sound, his style, is very unique and we dig that. I strongly urge you all to listen to 8-Bit hero, I personally cannot stop playing it. I think this guy has an incredibly bright future, because he has a vision, a plan, and his sound is unlike everyone else’s. That is what really sold me on him, his music is very good, but his attitude is even better. Please give jdub a listen and your support, I promise you won’t regret it.”

“Our really good friend jdub left us this lovely remix by Maroon 5. Not going to lie to you all, I got excited since I’m an Adam Levine fan. No shame about how talented he is. For those questioning, I became a fan after watching NBC’s The Voice. jdub takes this song and remixes very well in the sense that he doesn’t bastardize the vocals and keeps the beauty of Adam Levine’s voice. That said, he does change absolutely everything else and it works very well. It focuses more on the vocals and gives the song more of a dance feel that it needs. Makes it more emotional as well.”

“It’s time for another edition of Assassin of the Week! This week, we are very excited to highlight an artist that the writers of EDM Assassin really admire. He goes by the name of ‘jdub’ and he generously took the time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions for me. “jdub always impresses me with his tracks because he doesn’t stick to one genre exclusively. His broad range of tracks makes me unable to guess what he is going to do next. His latest track is a remix of Rameses B featuring Charlotte Haining’s “I Need You.” This chillstep track is going to kick you right in the feels. It is like he is toying with my emotions on purpose. Normally, I don’t appreciate when people do that, but this track is just so beautiful. Note the 8bit that he used last time. Check it out and download it for free!”

“Our good friend, jdub is back with his first original track that he has submitted to his sight and let me tell you, it is awesome. This track is such a throwback in the best possible way because it reminds me of my childhood and I couldn’t stop having flashbacks of me and my girl, Ms. Pac-Man. He takes dubstep into an interesting level by incorporating the 8-bit sounds. I love this song completely. Here is what jdub had to say about it: This song is a throw back to the good ol’ days of video games. I wanted to take everyone back to the experience of a great game. I tried to convey the different steps of the journey starting out, epic boss battle, a critically injured hero, and a triumphant ending theme all in one song. I hope you enjoy it! Check this song out right now! I have one grief with it though. I can’t download it. Either way, listen to it right now!”

“jdub does it again! The first time we heard of jdub, he was remixing Gemini’s ‘Fire Inside ft. Greta Svabo Bech’. He does it again by remixing Drake’s major hit, ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’. The synths in this remix truly give it an old school feel which give this remix a funky, smooth mix. jdub wrote this about the track, “I had this funky idea for a remix for Drakes song. I wanted to get a little bit retro with it and just go with the flow.” Definitely check this out and download it since it is free. “jdub or goes by the name of Jeremiah is “just a guy” coming out of Ohio who has been into the business of making music since he was 5. With the amount of experience under his belt it is clear to see this in his music. Mainly producing Dubstep it seems no genre is too hard for Jeremiah to tackle having done Trap, Chill-Step, Pop-Rock and even a Mash-up for good measure. What we do notice with all his music is a theme of peace and serenity that flows throughout it all but still contains the right amount of energy to get you out of your seat and heading to the dance floor.”

“For my remix of the day, I present an artist who you may have never heard of but need to know. He goes by the name of jd-_-b and his remix of Gemini’s “Fire Inside” is absolutely beautiful. He begins the remix by opening up with a beautiful piano melody followed by the lyrics that we are all familiar with. He then proceeds to drop the song in an amazing and chilling way.”
