My name is Art Wakefield. I was raised in a small town called Elkhorn, not too far from Omaha, Nebraska. I like the simple country life, where neighbors still wave and where everyone knows your name.
This music represents the small-town values the I grew up with. It is a mix of inspiration and perspiration, blended carefully in a garage in Gretna Nebraska (population just over 2,000).
The music on is a blend of rock, hard rock, light rock, ballads, and dance tunes.
