“As the title suggests, this album has epic power metal melodies but if you look at the length of the songs, well, they definitely make you understand that their music will be something like a mix between Rhapsody and Dream Theater. Well, the truth is not far from it! Keys and drums are basically similar to two bands. The first one is Symphony X, the second is Dream Theater. That's to say that these guys start at the top level of progressive! Meanwhile, Shant Hagopian on guitars apparently takes pleasure in alternating between John Petrucci's style and Luca Turilli's, and it rocks!”

But what awaits us musically? Well, if you look at the song lengths, then the thought "Progressive Metal" comes to mind almost inevitably and indeed the Syrians have written this style onto their banner and orientate themselves on such outstanding names such as DREAM THEATER or also SYMPHONY X (but without getting as Power Metal as the Americans). ”

“This is really melodic heavy/ power metal full of keyboards and interesting arrangements that have an epic quality in them. I mean, the melodies are essential in Nuclear Dawn´s music and they have a classical and epic feeling when combined with heavier parts. There is virtuosism in order to achieve great results and that is evident specially on the guitar solos. The singer reminded in some places to Joe Lynn Turner or to Marc Boals which is a good mix between melody and power. He has a good vocal registry for this type of music. The sound is a little bit raw for this style of music, specially in the drums that sound a little bit back in the mix and I think that maybe with a better mix the band can sound even more powerful. Thumbs up for the rhythm section that is extremely tight and well rehearsed and that can be heard through all the album. This is what I call a good heavy/power metal release.”
