In 2005, Paul Noyola was the lead singer for the rock band Demagogue. During that time, Gray Reed and Josh Zerangue were playing in Ten Ton Nothing, sharing the stage and performing at the same venues as Demagogue around Texas and Louisiana. Both bands were active for the next few years and each releasing successful albums, before they both bands dissolved around 2007.
