Ever since their arrival on the North West music scene back in July, 2001 'Northern Literature' have been setting trends with their unorthodox approach & composition of tracks, beats & albums in genres ranging from Hip-Hop, Grime, R&B to Bassline, Dubstep, Ragga. Consisting of Baratone (Lyricist/Producer), Marcy (Radio Presenter/Refixes) & Topaz One (Lyricist) with affiliated members Manzy.P (Producer), Dub.Kutta (Producer), Same Difference (Vocals) to name a few.

Northern Literature have appeared on BBC Asian Network (Bobby Friction's Show), BBC Lancashire, Unity FM (Manchester) & have their own slot on Preston FM (www.Preston.Fm)

In 2008 Northern Literature Recordings was established to assist fellow local artists/producers to independently release & promote their music.
