The Northeast Indiana Jazz Workshop was founded in 2005 as the IPFW Faculty Jazz Combo. Founding members, IPFW professors Drs. Ken Johnson and Farrell Vernon, agreed that the group's major focus would be to provide a performance outlet for its members' original jazz works.
