BIOGRAPHY
Nomads of Noise formed in late 2002.
The two band members, Nick von Korff and William Teague, met in school and played together in a band called "Six Pocket Theory." Will still plays guitar for "Six Pocket Theory", but Nick left the band in 2001 to pursue his interest in electronic music production.
After hearing some of Nick's work, Will asked to borrow a CD of the most complete tracks. Will started editing down some of Nick's original tracks and adding guitar to bring out a more "Rock and Roll" feel. What evolved was a myriad of songs and remixes from hypnotic 8-minute epics, to short punchy electro-rock. The best of these became the basis for the "Primordial Soup" EP, released late September 2003.
In 2005, "Nomads of Noise" released their debut full-length CD, "Transitory," and in 2007, the band collaborated with with personal friend and director, Kevin T. Barnes, to create a music video for "Freaky Dance," one of the tracks off the debut album. The music video is available on YouTube and MySpace:

In January 2008, "Freaky Dance" went to Number 1 on the MP3.COM.AU charts in the "Pop and Rock" category, after the track was chosen by MP3.COM.AU to be featured on their website.
At this stage "Nomads of Noise" is a recording based project only, but depending upon interest, live performance in the Sydney area may be on the horizon.
