Bio

I was raised in Ohio County, KY - same as Bill Monroe (father of bluegrass), & met him over 50 years ago where I got my 1st start - in a small Baptist church where my grandfather was a deacon in Centertown, KY! My 'music' reflects on things, people, & places that I will ALWAYS cherish! Traditional/bluegrass/gospel/country/humor/R&B/rock are just some of the styles! Retired, but still 'perform' from time to time! Play bluegrqass EVERY Thursday at a retirement center less than 2 miles away! They LOVE it, & I do, too!

About

Yep, this is the site of No Creek Music!!!  Howdy and Welcome!

No Creek, KY really was a real place, although  like many places in KY, it ain't on the map!

In 1890, the town or community was completely blown away (see the song "cyclone of 1890 for 'details')!

This was where my great, great, great grandfather settled a long time ago!  I even have a picture of my grandfather & his classmates dated 1903!
Lots of memories are still there,

I've tried to put some of these memories in song:

  • Prayer
  • The miner's train
  • cyclone of 1890
  • grandpa's tobacco
  • I thought you understood
  • Christmas in Appalachia
  • and more!  Check out my song list!!

Check out this banner website.  It's a mighty fine place to meet a lot of good people:
