Dreams do come true: After years in business, I am finally pursuing the dream that has carried me through all along: To live life as a professional musician... can't seem to find a job anyway!
"Waiting Game, my newest album, truly did take a lot of love and waiting to get released, but the wait is over! The album is a gumbo of many styles, but I felt it was a good representation of my many interests.
My music is straight from my soul. Music is my artistic vehicle to celebrate the love and beauty that life has to offer... My intention is to share my interpretation of all this life, love and beauty. Songwriting and composing are my passion, and have been as long as I can remember."

Breaking news! Back in the studio to record a blues album. It will be acoustic and electric blues, and the lyrics have been flowing like a raging river... More news! "Ooohhh" was number 5 on the global Reverbnation Hot Jazz list on 10/20/2009!
"Waiting Game", features mostly my "electric" side. "Waiting Game" includes songs in Reggae, Nu-Jazz, Adult Contemporary, Fusion, Singer/Songwriter and Rock styles. A Blues CD, Able N. Herdy "Recession Blues" and a Nu-Jazz CD (TBD) are also in progress.
The title song "Waiting Game" is a sweet Reggae tune. Themain theme is to never settle for less, as you get what you settle for... Dreams come True... They do.
"Ooohhh", an upbeat instrumental Nu-Jazz / Bossa instrumental composition, was released early as a single in July 2008 on iTunes, Rhapsody, GroupieTunes and a few other great sites on the Web.
"Near Me Again" is my Santana-esque uber melodic rock instrumental ballad. There are lyrics, but in this version I was just working on the solo, and kept going and going and going... The inspiration was the longing to see distant loved ones.
"Benign" is my interpretation of the emotions that someone goes through when they hear that word after waiting for medical test results.
"Butterfly in the Wind" is about the difficulties of life and the soul-level desire to be on a beach, with the sand on your toes.
"Katrina" is a swampy blues that I wrote after watching the news regarding that monster in New Orleans. The schwooping drum loop is what a helicopter must have sounded like to someone stuck in a flooding attic...
"Another Chance" was the "get back together" rock ballad. I wrote it on a Steinway Grand in a hotel lobby!
"Begin Again" is a song about starting over, after love has left you disenchanted... and jaded. Kinda like a Chris Isaak tune...
"Behind Your Eyes" was written about the hope that a new love interest could be the one... It's a nice mellow rocker.
"RigginSong" is an acoustic instrumental about the song of the sailboat rigging as it chimes against the mast while you are lounging in the cockpit at anchor.
"Not Sleepy" is an acoustic instrumental about the stages of energy depletion in a one year old as bedtime approaches.
