 ARTIST BIOGRAPHIES

 TERRY PRACCHIA

Born in Port Colborne, Ontario, Terry began his career locally.

His unique abilities on guitar coupled with a solid sense of musical intuition made him the the first choice of Niagara's premier rock bands like RUCKUS & LENNEX. Notably the latter featured HONEYMOON SUITE vocalist Johnny Dee.

Throughout the 1980's, Terry refined his skills with a number of high-profile acts including a US & Canadian tour with HELIX. He also played lead guitar for Carl Dixon of CONEY HATCH, APRIL WINE, & THE GUESS WHO fame.

Terry was a founding member & front-man for WHITE FROST.
He contributes a wide range of musical knowledge & has thousands of songs in his repertoire.

ROB KILIAN

Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Robert Kilian learned to play piano at 3 years old and studied classically for 8 years with The Royal Conservatory Of Music.

By age 6 he was composing original songs.

By age 10 he was writing and recording everything from ballads to pop.

As a teenager Robert grew as a performer by expanding his musical styles and joining several different types of bands.

At age 15 he played tenor sax, front-manned a metal band & was lead singer/keyboardist for a popular ethnic & festive musical ensemble all at the same time. One night he'd be belting out Judas Priest or Black Sabbath vocals in studded leather boots, and the next night be at a wedding singing Spanish Eyes in a blue tuxedo! And not much has changed! He loves to assume the character and vocal styles of the original singer when performing their song.

In his 20's Robert gained a wealth of valuable experience appearing on television specials & independent recordings (including his latest credits on Rick Emmett's
new CD "Airtime"), writing & performing rock & country from B.C. back to Ontario.

Today he's half of the incredible Dueling Pianos Show at Niagara Fallsview Casino and Resort & continues to appear at casinos and festivals coast to coast with his bands New York Minute (pop/rock/disco/funk) & New Kid In Town (tribute to The Eagles).

Strong, versatile vocal ability combined with classical training, composing & arranging education, travel & performance experience, and a wide library of musical styles fit Robert comfortably into virtually any production or live venue.

DANTE DICENSO

Born in Welland, Ontario, Dante is a gifted and self-taught bass guitarist and singer. He's a huge Beatles & Eagles fan and lists Sgt. Peppers & Hotel California as his two favorite albums. His other musical influences are his four brothers.

Dante plays a Fender Squire 5 String P-Bass & Musicman Stingray 5 String Fretless with Piezo through a SWR 750x Bass Head, SWR 4/10 Workingman's Speaker Cabinet & SWR 1/15  Workingman's Speaker Cabinet.

He's a respected artist who's appeared with a variety of first class performers including HOTEL CALIFORNIA; founded WITCH JUAN'S BOB & NEW YORK MINUTE; and performs in NEW KID IN TOWN with Rob Kilian.

GEOFF SKAFTFELD

Geoff grew up in London, Ontario. His 30 years of experience includes private studies at the percussion faculty at the University of Western Ontario. There he studied jazz for several years while augmenting his skills through participation in a variety of provincial-level performance initiatives.

Geoff then progressed to the prestigious Music Industry Arts (MIA) program at Fanshawe College, graduating in Recorded Music Production. During this period he was fortunate enough to perform & record with a number of London & Toronto based bands.

Since his 1986 move to Niagara Geoff has worked with reggae-influenced CONCRETE BEACH, blues-driven DESCENDANTS, jam-band RHYTHMHOUNDS & spent 3 years with WHITE FROST.

Geoff's musical contribution is firmly prioritized on groove & versatility. Accordingly, he cites his primary influences as Steve Gadd and Jeff Porcaro.

Geoff performs on Premier Genista or Gretsch drums, uses Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks & a variety of snare drums & percussion toys!
