Guy has just returned home to Houston, Texas, USA, from working in the west with Sirius Hippies Productions, editing films from SOUTH BY DUE EAST 2009 and creating episodes of Guy's new musical reality TV series, 'Guy Schwartz' Road Journal.In 2009, 'Guy Schwartz' Video Guide To JAMS & OPEN MICS in the Greater Metropolitan Houston Area!' won an award from HMSTV as top community programming!. Canadian rock-critic Jason Gross (rockcritic.com) listed Guy's Lionel Hampton Tribute as one of the top twenty music essays of 2002. A compilation of these essays in book form may be released in 2009. Guy's 1999 'how-to manual, 'Keeping The Band Together', published by Sage & Woodway Publishers, is obsolete and out of print.
