“The first time I heard the Neal Lucas Band was at the Opening Act. I was invited to come listen to these guys by a friend who claimed they had run across a great up and coming new blues act. I was very skeptical, but I figured I’d give it a shot. About two songs in I didn’t have to hear any more. I was impressed. This three-piece wasn’t overdoing it like some new blues bands tend to do.
