NDAAZ / Press

“This was only the second time I've seen NDAAZ, but their niche is one of my favorites. I thanked them the first time for "bringing the ritual back to live music", and they were similarly spellbinding, as it were, this time around. They employ call-and-response chants that somehow aren't cheesy, percussion with enough negative space and inventive groove to evoke a sense of drum circles (everyone else grew up going to those, right? I did, and NDAAZ reminds me of them), and socially conscious lyrics – and by all these powers combined, they always put on a thought-provoking set. I wouldn't really call it trance metal, but they're fascinatingly danceable, while still bringing heavy riffs into their lengthy jams.”

Axecents - LocalMC

“I also would like to share with you guys what NDAAZ said during an interview. We asked them why they deserve to head out to LA. They replied, It's would be nice to go, but its not just about us. It's about our scene. If we can help get a band out to represent us "Denver" we will do it. It's about creating a brotherhood in other words. I have much respect for NDAAZ. They have the right mentality to be in this scene! Take note younger bands! You need to think this way!”

2012 Mile High Hoedown - NDAAZ Interview

“NDAAZ is the episcenter of where the ripple of energy vibrates from your soul outwards to ROCK everything around YOU and continues on and on to change the world as we know it!!! haha... anyways thats the way I see it.”

Walt Pourier - Stronghold Society

“This is insane. Easily the most creative and different band I have ever found on this site! What a gem”

Orrery - Fan comment

“I am totally amazed and excited for us the American Indian, NDAAZ has really given this generation a musical insight that is becoming infectious to all different nationalities, even in Germany?”

Lynn Johnson - Denver Indian Center

“NDAAZ, while a very peculiar name, is a band that has been creating a buzz around town the last several months. Playing strong, well-rehearsed heavy metal, this quartet’s fans showed up ready head bang. Another band that I had not previously seen, I was skeptical that they would be “just another metal band.” However, I will admit that I was wrong and I was as into it as anyone else. Front man Deno stormed around the stage as he sang, leading the crowd through a set of metal anthems that left me wondering where their next show is. They had the walls of the Summit Music Hall pounding throughout their entire set, with an eccentric stage presence that almost cleared out the bar, including heavy drinkers like myself, as we all stepped up to check out some of Denver’s best metal. ”

Tim Wenger - Denver Open Source

“Next up is something that is indescribable The Native American Metal band NDAAZ which means HEAVY, and is exactly what these guys do with every cut to the bone set of music. NDAAZ is a group of four guys intent on changing the world we live in through the metallic beat of their music and the content of their words. To see these guys perform live is to is to open your mind to the darkness that exits in us all and to come out the other side with love in your heart for all of mankind. HEAVY, I know.”

Chris Murphy - Colorado Music Buzz

“The rumble in the rockies has always been beneath your feet. Spirits of a voice past manifested through the microphone as a revolution”

Andrew Iron Shell - Western South Dakota Native American Organizing Project

“NDAAZ is just one of those unique Metal bands that draw from so many different influences and pull those influences off well that you have to see them live to get the full punch”

“NDAAZ’s approach was one to stir a person’s soul and imagination not to mention the crowds attention.”

Mugz Clay - GREAT TIME at the GOTHIC SHOW.

“These guys are very skilled musicians and their Native-influenced Metal is powerful on many levels. They also have an incredible sense of humor that goes along with their shrediness.”

“NDAAZ’s great harmony is definitely worth the price of admission for anyone looking for Denver’s next big ticket!”
