| Status | Just had my mind blown. Elvis Costello on Stephen Colbert's show. Elvis' voice was under the weather, so he played guitar while Stephen sang "Lip Service". Hell yes! |

Bio
On his latest CD entitled The Feeling I Got, Texas based recording artist Nathan Johnson provides you with a fresh sound all his own. The infectious groove of Little Miss Amazing, the Paul Simon insprired percussion on Mercury, or the downright sexiness of the title cut - all show a variety of styles held together by the voice and vision of an unique emerging artist.
With two previous albums under his belt, the self-titled debut “Nathan Johnson” and sophomore effort “Seethe”, he is becoming that rare self-contained artist that successfully writes, plays & produces himself.

What about me?
On his latest CD entitled The Feeling I Got, Texas based recording artist Nathan Johnson provides you with a fresh sound all his own. The infectious groove of Little Miss Amazing, the Paul Simon insprired percussion on Mercury, or the downright sexiness of the title cut - all show a variety of styles held together by the voice and vision of an unique emerging artist.
With two previous albums under his belt, the self-titled debut “Nathan Johnson” and sophomore effort “Seethe”, he is becoming that rare self-contained artist that successfully writes, plays & produces himself. "I enjoy every aspect of it - The meticulous craft of lyric writing, finding just the right chords & melody that compliment them, then getting the perfect performance recorded", Nathan recently said. Songs off both his previous CD's have won several song writing awards, and been featured in independent films.
In addition to recording, Nathan is a full-time performer & singer/songwriter, and averages over 200 shows a a year. He can be caught live in a solo, duo or a 4 pc band setting. This range of musical delivery is reflected in his catalogue of songs. He is at once a compelling, serious artist and an often dry-witted, humorous performer. He was named Indie Artist of the Month for January 2008 (see www.texasmusictimes), and took 2nd place in Dallas' prestigious BW Stevenson Song Contest in June of 2008. He has performed at venues through-out Texas and Okalahoma plus many other events, outdoor festivals, colleges, and charities. He has opened for Lisa Loeb, Roger Clyne and The Peacmakers, Grammy Winners Brave Combo, Bob Schneider, Monte Montgomery, and Jon Dee Graham.
“Occasionally we venture out of the norm when something comes to us that is very special. Dallas based artist Nathan Johnson's new record fits perfectly into that category of a special form of Texas music. ... “The Feeling I Got”, is a great pop rock and vibe driven record that delivers an original style and feel to the listener. Nathan successfully blends a wonderful R&B style with a voice that is delightful and compelling.” Keith Howerton - www.texasmusictimes.com
“The music scene always has one band that stands out from the mainstream, his understanding of current pop culture set him apart.....he brought a diverse crowd of conscious music and beer lovers to the Saucer” Stephen Duque – The Flying Saucer – Dallas, TX
“Besides his energetic sound, smooth rhythms and good sense of humor he is one of the best that I have worked with. Nathan will give you more than you expect. So sit back, relax, open your mind and enjoy.” David Travis – Assistant Director, Austin College, Sherman, TX
