About
History - Exactly one year ago I had finished a prior project labeled “Pretense”.
This rather horrible CD consisted of nothing more than some music projects which
explored different genres and styles. Back then, I was looking for what my talents
would be compliment. In November, 2007, I found it...
There it began, with Curvatures of the Inward Imagination leading the way. This
was actually far superior to my previous engagements. One by one I slowly transferred
what I had composed on the Piano over to SoundTrack Pro, a music program. While my
skills at both the Piano and the program were lacking indeed, I endeavored onwards.
Finally, nesting around June of 2008, I came to my final installment, Red Raindrop.
Originally, I planned that there would be a total of nine songs filling up A Solemn
Absence’s album. However, my talents on the Piano from there far surpassed what I
could do on SoundTrack Pro. I decided that this would be it. Wait, how come I released
this in November, 2008 then? Well, back then my songs were actually much different.
So through prolonged tweaking and procrastination, my songs finally reached the level
of “Enjoyable”. That’s actually it, nothing grand or superb, either way I like it. Do you?
What is to come? Basically, I’m in a point of my life where playing the piano is actually rather complicated. The computer simply does not give enough emotion into my compositions. Oh yes, and I do indeed still compose. In fact, I have created a total of five different official songs. But regardless, I am currently fine tuning my performance skills. However, what kind of monster would I be if I didn’t offer more? So here is what’s coming in the next few months or so. Firstly, I am currently transferring A Solemn Absence on to paper. I want others to experiment with what I already have. Moreover, it’ll better progress my composing skills. Secondly, I am buying equipment for recording. While I doubt you’ll be seeing any lyrics soon, you will be hearing a wider range of instruments. Stay tuned for a lot more.
