“Since 2003, Calderazzo has been getting an eclectic, electric group of artists together to bring sold out audiences the WHOLE LOTTA LOVE Led Zeppelin Celebration.
The stage was at times awash with a stellar array of gifted musicians and singers including Simon Meli (Widowbirds), Jeff Martin (The Tea Party), Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), Zkye and Natasha Stuart. Fronting the banging band was Calderazzo admirably accompanied by the acclaimed Sydney Lyric Strings and the astonishing piano virtuoso Charmaine Ford. The whole group was wound tight as a drum, and kept there by the tenacious beat brought by drummer Gordon Rytmeister and his rocking rhythm section.
Its no surprise the Zep fans loved the two and a half hour show, each song getting a whole lot of love from the full house. As with the best shows, the energy flowing between the stage and seats was palpable, and certainly on stage the jam was sticky sweet and sweaty – just the way rock and roll should be.”
