“♥ The Émigré's Waltz ♥
or
♥A Collection of American Furniture Music Pieces♥
Serbian composer Natasha Bogojevich wrote “The Émigré's Waltz” in the hopes of enriching the American Furniture Music repertoire. The title is suitable for two reasons: (1) the entire composition is in 3/4, and (2) its autobiographic nature for Natasha. Émigré is a piece of furniture herself; being in America for so long it seems permanent. Natasha is currently on faculty at DePaul University.”
