The beauty and pain of life, love and feeling is what inspires Natalie Edward to write. Her lyrics portray a world of heartache, but also a world of love and growth. Natalie sings with a truth in every song that cannot be denied, and uses that undeniable truth to get under your skin.
Influences come from Sarah Mclachlan, Jewel, Our Lady Peace and the Cranberries, but Natalie doesn't stop there. Her roots go all the way down to her parents' early repertoire of the B52's and Barbara Streisand.
Natalie grew up in the Suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, but moved to Vancouver at the age of 18, which was when the EP project "October" was born. Being alone in a new city was what forced her to dig deep and discover what was inside.
