Nanne Emelie Andersen ist eine in Dänemark sehr erfolgreiche Newcomerin und schickt sich nun an, auch die internationalen Musikbühnen zu erobern. Ihre glasklare und doch samtige Stimme, mit klassischen Jazznotes und einem Touch Pop und Soul, zieht die Zuhörer unweigerlich in ihren Bann. Die gefühlvolle Stimme wird durch einen weichen, jazzig-rockigen Groove einer hervorragenden Band unterstützt und angetrieben. Inspiriert von ihrer musikalischen Ausbildung in Kuba, stellt sie jetzt ihr neues Album Once Upon A Town vor und hat auch einige kubanische Musiker dazu eingeladen. In den neun sehr abwechslungsreichen, von Nanne Emelie selbst geschriebenen Songs wird man zeitweise an Norah Jones erinnert - sofern man einen Vergleich heranziehen will.
