Nancy Moran is a folk-rooted singer-songwriter who uses a mix of attitudinal folk, soulful Americana, and feel-good rock to convey the hard-earned lessons of everyday life. The Richmond (VA) Times-Dispatch called her "a [modern-day] Joni Mitchell" as well as "a major force to be reckoned with." In 2001, WXGI Radio named her "Songwriter of the Year." Her harmony-laced folk/rock songs have been compared to Linda Ronstadt & The Eagles and her voice to that of Carly Simon & Mary Chapin Carpenter....
