NADIRAH X _________________________________________________ Nadirah X, a fierce Jamaican bred MC, Combining elements of hip-hop, reggae, soul and spoken word – she is revolutionary in mind and music. Her lyrical power knows no limits, incorporating her relentless views on self-examination, relationships, injustice, and her political stance. Her dynamic performance, courage and story-telling brilliance, has captured a wide national audience, anxious for her debut to release. An ‘ordinary girl’ with an extraordinary will, Nadirah X is on a mission to speak truth to today’s youths.

RECENT SUCCESSES_________________________________________

She recorded on Mudbone’s (Parliament Funkadelic) “Fresh Mud” album, produced by Dave Stewart and released in UK. This recording lead to a first class invite to perform with the group in support of the “Fresh Mud” album with Pink’s “I’m not Dead” Tour. She won “Best New Female Artist” in Jamaica. Her song, “I Hate This” was part of the Tomb Raider Cradle of Life soundtrack. Nadirah has also been commissioned by Coca Cola for their “Real Campaign” in the Caribbean. She has worked with the likes of Mick Jagger & Joss Stone on the Golden Globe award-winning soundtrack for Alfie. She has written and recorded with Jimmy Cliff on the Grammy Nominated “Black Magic” album. Nadirah is featured on the track “Womankind” on Annie Lennox’s new album, “Songs of Mass Destruction” produced by Glenn Ballard, which is currently receiving great reviews.
