1992-1994 Nadirah Shakoor as featured female vocalist of Hip Hop group Arrested Development received a Grammy nomination,an MTV Video award and released “Soul Power”. NadirahSongs, and Obssessed With Peace, collaborations with DJ/producer, Osunlade (Yoruba Records). In 1995 Nadirah joined Jimmy Buffett’s band. Her CD, “Nod to the Storyteller” is a tribute to him. High on my list of things I want to do in life has always been theater. I have auditioned a for a couple roles and according to the voice in my head I suck at acting. Well I finally decided to do something and take a class and I absolutely love it! Im only in "Intro to acting" but I think I will claim it... I am an actor :)
