Mymindseye is the solo project of guitarist Steve Grierson. A full time member of progressive rock three piece Puzzle Factory; Steve found himself with time on his hands during the recording of the Puzzle Factory second album. Steve wished to develop phrasing and new techniques and became bored with practice alone.The resulting energies were channeled into these songs. Mymindseye draws inspiration from Jeff Beck mainly. There are hints of Marillion and Porcupine Tree also. The influences of the latter are always inevitable with Steve's writing.
