The music of My Escapade began in the isolation of a small town in Tasmania, where two brothers Jason P and Simon James collaborated with comrades Chris van Tholen and Alan Forrest in early 2007. Writing and rehearsing in a classroom in an abandoned school they started performing all around the state. They soon established a local fan base while crafting the My Escapade sound and recording their first demos in a farmhouse.
