Doors @ 7 Show @ 8 $10 Donation 18+ In early September, Matthew Marshall was in an automobile accident and has had to undergo weeks in the ICU and rehabilitation therapy. Thankfully, Matthew has bounced back and has been building a up normal routine. The Sly kids, local bands, and local businesses are coming together on November 30th to raise money to offset Matthew’s medical expenses. Doors will open at 7 and music starts at 8. We will be auctioning off items and raffle prizes will be given away throughout the night. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! Aaron Brown The Modock Rounders mycity. Killing Hymn The Dead Frets Warzawa AC30 Deadbeats and Barkers DJ Franklin F’n Furnace We thank all of the bands for contributing their time to help raise money. We especially thank Don and Patrick from the V Club for facilitating our event. It’ll be a great night for music and the celebration of life. The event has been named Music Matters because music provides more than checking out your friends band on the weekends, sharing mp3s, getting your dance on, having a favorite band, having a favorite song, etc. It’s also about coming together as a community and being apart of an artist or artists expression. Something that a majority of musicians in Huntington, WV do best is play music to benefit others and share the love of another human being. The same love comes from local businesses and the caring people of Huntington. Again we thank you.
