After many many many many many many years of writing songs but hardly performing them i've finally got off my arse and have been blitzing every known genre writing & performing "music" that goes from the loud (Mutant Zombies, I Need To Get My Kicks, Tombstoning et al.) to softer (and probably more pretentious) TV Leg, Fake Jazz & Bad Blues. I've been lucky to be involved in the Edinburgh Open Mic scene (Out Of The Bedroom, Maltings, Whistle Binkies) for the past year - it's been very educational (though not in a boring way) & i hope that this year will be even better (hopefully having learned a few things from last year!).
