Bio
I have no musical background to speak of, really. I just feel as though there is music that isn't out there that should be. That's where I come in.
About
Update:
Here's my dross:
I, Mr. Trainwreck, have been producing my own material since 2005. My earlier work is not up on this site or any other as I still have to work to do to the files themselves in order to upload them here. I strive to create music that is tense yet ethereal and malignant. My preferred musical style is Drum and Bass, think more Ben Sage and less Deisel Boy. Through some desperate creation I have two entire full legnth CDs done (De-Railed and Application of Chemistry), and # 3 (The Red Sky Light Pollution) is a work in progress. Feedback is the most valuable comodity to me, so be through.
This is what I've done so far on "The Red Sky Light Pollution":
Thousand Towers (Revision II): This is an evolution of the Tamora Fractures, This drum & bass track focuses on scyncopation of the drum beat and having a more distored and softer synthisizers. It's the first single off the 3rd CD.
A quick breakdown of "Application of Chemistry":
Tamora Fracture (Recovery Remix): This is my top notch Drum & Bass track, clocking in at 165 BPM, it's 5 BPM slower than the original, but has more intracate beat patterns and several deep pad swells. It's not always congruent with the typical 4/4 signature, but has and over all 'flow' I'm content with for the moment
A Faster First: Not quite breakbeat and not quite Drum & Bass, this one is a whole lot of somthing in between. Composite beats with build ups and break downs lay the reticulating foundation for the peculiar synth hook as well as the sweet to the ear analouge layered pad swells and a bassline that could of been imported from trance nation.
Ghana: This is a complete tribal-house track; extremely catchy hook, a plethora of African drums, and distorted organs.
Mute Lane: Bouncing bass line with an up tempo electro beat and pianos just for a touch of texture. Paula Dean could make a more delicious song herself.
Cocaine Bazzar: This is a deep punchy afterhours house track with just a touch of Dirty Vegas' first album
Amphetamine Headache: Have you ever taken just a little too much?
Tilt: Light-hearted trip hop song. I'm bringing broken beats back to the masses!
Sour Logic: Deep, slow, and brooding ambeint track influenced by the Boards of Canada with multi faceted blended pads and a simple hip-hop beat and industrial background clatter.
Gravity: Heart-felt and penisive with just a little seductive edge. Trivia: The background pad was recycled from my song Clov[H]er (Work With Me...)
Elder: I've always been intrigued by classic electro, so I did my homework and churned out this one. It's a little dark, very synth-y, and totally danceable.
Tamora Fracture: The first single composed on Application of Chemistry, initial deigned to be the last track on De-Railed but wouldn't fit. It's a quick Drum & Bass hit with electric noise clutter and a relentless beat
One Siren's Resolve: Endless depth and range, this epic journey (over 8:00) into soundscape as an entity of the mind is kept grounded by a slow broken beat.
