As a contributing member of the Winnipeg indie music scene since 1992 after fronting local bands Artificial Joy and Buckethitch, Aboriginal performer Ashley McCurdy has branched out on his own and discovered a new distinctive voice under the moniker Mr. McCurdy. A new batch of original songs, a new band and a love for the blues has helped to spawn his first solo project. McCurdy explores blues, rock, and folk and as a singer/songwriter creates powerful music as seen through his eyes.
