CutTime® is a clever spinoff from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Founder-bassist- arranger Rick Robinson hit on the idea of a mini-orchestra called CutTime Players® that could take symphonic hits in search of new audiences. What’s really special is that Robinson is African-American. From his unique perspective he explains what is fun, personal and fresh about this art music.
