Mourning Faize was formed in March 2005. Currently based in Cardwell, MO, the band includes members Darin Williams on the Guitar and Vocals, Bruce Leonard playing Percussion, and Josh Morris on Bass.

The group wanted to create music that was unique. With a rock based style, they seek a distinct sound that stands as something other than the usual, yet holds on to popular techniques.

The band came together quickly taking first place at the Mainstreet Battle of the Bands in 2006. They've since been gaining experience performing at different events. The band has written many songs and has recently self-recorded and released their first EP.

After gaining a following, the band has decided to begin traveling to more distant events, seeking more listeners and opportunities to gain a career in music.
