My Name is Eric Johnson! It seems some guy from Austin Texas made it famous noodling out the blues about 20 years back. His name was Eric Johnson too...... But I aint him. I too play the blues but more of a country/folk blues with a bit of delta blues for flavor. Let's just call it, "Americana". I'm just as influenced by English Rockers as I am old blues players like Robert Johnson. I'd have to say that Pete Townshend and Steve Earle are my favorite song writers.

I've been writing songs off and on for 25 years or so, mostly for my own entertainment. I can play anything from Ozzy Osborne to Johnny Cash but prefer, country blues.
Looking back at life. I realize now that I was always at my happiest with a guitar in my hands.
Although I did try and distance myself from music for a few years, you can't escape who you really are.
Renewed and refreshed, guitar is a daily ritual again. It's who I am!
Finally the bluesman I always wanted to be.
