“The musical style moves from melodic death metal to metal core, and certainly one can say it has its black metal moments, while thrash elements raise the temperature high. MORGUE ORGY is a heavy metal party animal that manages to provide the listener a good time; without leaving him pondering at the same time, with wonderful melodic moments meeting classic blastbeats, serve the listener the “right” amount of fun, great music and aggression. Though this work is self released, the production is the “seventh” player not to mention Dave Hunt’s (ANAAL NATHRAKH, BENEDICTION) guest appearance in “The modern Prometheus”, the outstanding last track of the EP. In conclusion, “Murders Most Foul” is a fast, short in duration metal release, which can find supporters among the majority of the metal community. Give it a shot! 9/10”

“This EP has such a crossover appeal that fans of many forms of extreme metal will find much to make them grin – thrash, death, black metal, hardcore, power metal... the list is almost endless. What's most impressive though is how the songs all flow so well, such is the quality of the song writing and the musicianship involved. Power, melody, velocity, and chaos are perfectly balanced throughout. Singling out a particular track is pointless because they're all stunning in their own right, although Anaal Nathrakh fans will no doubt point to closer “The Modern Prometheus” with guest vocals from Dave Hunt. To my ear there's only one negative; whilst the EP is perfectly mixed the mastering makes it sound very quiet – this is one you really have to crank up. If this had flown out of the speakers at you it would have been near as damn it perfect. 8 out of 10”

“I really don't see where's the "originality" in the sound of this band, as broadcasted by many blogs and webzines out there. Yes, "Murders most Foul" is slightly better than its predecessor but still... Inverted crosses on the front cover, cheerful press-release photo, I really don't get this band at all... I don't see how a mixture of Metalcore, modern Thrash and blasting Death/Black Metal can be considered as "original". They surely have a powerful, well-produced sound with many EMPEROR-like moments but in my opinion their tracks are so full of vocals that in the end they are capable of giving you a headache rather than set grounds for appreciation. There is also a pseudo-CRADLE OF FILTH aura in all tracks, wihich I really found annoying... There is a guest appearance by David Hunt (ANAAL NATHRAKH, BENEDICTION) on "Τhe Modern Prometheus" which sweetens the track, which in the end comes second in line of quality, after opening track "70 Dead" which I actually really enjoyed.”

“Synth-string melodies meet blastbeats in tracks like ‘70 Dead’, thrashy chugging and intricate panned riffs are underpinned by abrasive blackened minor key tremolo picking in ‘The Modern Prometheus’ (a standout track for me, not only being a well-written song, but also featuring guest vocals by Dave Hunt of Anaal Nathrakh fame) and more than capable vocalist Martin Graham oversees proceedings with his trademark snarl; it’s exceptionally difficult to come up with a categorisation that is appropriate across the board. Generally, there is a pretty stark division between metalheads who embrace subgenres which end in ‘core’ and those who look down their noses at such things and insist ‘das ist nein krieg’, and what’s refreshing about Murders Most Foul is that I could quite happily recommend it to a member of either of those two camps.”

Meet Morgue Orgy: Carter (Keys), Gray (Vocals), Pence (Guitars), Prok (Guitars), Tom (Drums), Tris (Bass). Formed in 2008, Morgue Orgy immediately caught the attention and support of the local music community, and not only in the metal scene. Within just a few live shows, Morgue Orgy gained the reputation of the most entertaining band on the scene, with a blistering live performance mixing professionalism with intricate brutality and infectious humour. "The band of the night for me, local heroes Morgue Orgy were on top form... LFR have a wide range of influences including Pantera, Deftones, Tool and Strapping Young Lad to name a few. LFR's sound is a mixture of Punk, Metal and Rock. Layering powerful melodies and catchy riffs over a thundering rhythm section, makes you want to sing, dance and beat the crap out of the person next to you. LFR have played with some of the best bands the West Midlands has to offer from all styles and genres, in the process introducing their unique blend of rock and metal to some of the top venues in the area. In May 2011 LFR released 'Left For Red Vol 001 - Empty Shell', a three-track EP which is still being played on local radio stations. Following the success of Vol 001, LFR returned to the studio in the summer of 2012 to record Vol 002- Mercy Flight, due for release via ARC RECORDS 01.12.12.
