Monosylabik is an electronic musician based in Mexico City who does acid, house, breaks, trance, big beat and downtempo, striving to push the envelope of what can be done with electronic gear.

With the release of the EP "Monosylabik" (released on October 1st, 2007) which covers genres like big beat, breaks and acid, Monosylabik is starting to make a name for himself in both the local and global electronic music scene. Monosylabik is also a member of Fract, a local rock/trip hop band who has an EP out called "The Draft" and is actively playing shows across the country.

Playing guitar and bass from the early teens, Monosylabik developed a love for music, which in conjunction with his knack for creating using software, led to his incursion into the electronic music production field. Delving into performance of live electronic music, Monosylabik creates live shows where human interaction with electronic instruments make each presentation completely unique.
