Mono:Poly was born in june 2006, created by Benjamin Luikenga (known from the gothic-formation ENGELSBLUT) and Markus Jack the unstoppable Deichgraf. We plan to conquer all musical styles out there, today rock, tomorrow THE WORLD. We shall own the monopoly on music! Just kidding. Mostly we'll be shipping in the seas of rock, sprinkling it with some electronic music...

Being the drunkards we are, Mono:Poly was thought of by minds drowned in beer. Benny was right in the throes to his next ENGELSBLUT-Album, when he decided to free himself from the shackles that his main project has put on him in the course of all those years. After a few nice conversations about that topic, it became clear, that his friend and comrade Jack was interested in new musical ways too. He'd done only experimental music thus far and has been writing poems.

The result is this new star amongst the rocking lords and ladies up there.

We've brought Grocery Store to you and have finished work on our second album too. We're just lacking the money to fully produce it, so if anyone knows some rich folk ;)... All in all Mono:Poly has made roundabout 43 songs to this date...
